Call for Papers by the AAHM

The deadline is fast approaching for those interested in submitting a paper proposal for the 83rd annual meeting of the American Association for the History of Medicine to be held in Rochester, Minnesota from April 29th to May 2, 2010. AAHM uses an online submission system, and proposals are due by September 15, 2009. Papers may be on a variety of topics, including "the history of health and healing; history of medical ideas, practices, and institutions; and histories of illness, disease, and public health." The Program Committee also accepts proposals for multi-paper sessions and luncheon workshops. Please contact the Chair, Dr. Keith Wailoo, if planning a session proposal.
